About Us

	How do you work?
	For clients who come to our showroom with architectural plans or room dimensions, we will develop a preliminary plan and costs based on cabinet line(s) selected. The preliminary drawing may or may not include elevations and/or perspectives. This step helps set the budget parameters for the project at no cost to the client. The plans remain the property of Shore & Country Kitchens. All dimensions will be field verified by Shore & Country Kitchens when the project is ready to go to contract.
	What if I don't have architectural plans or room dimensions?
	If you do not feel comfortable with your measuring ability, we can do an in-home consultation. Our home consultation fee is $500, which is nonrefundable and will be applied toward the final contract price.
	What if I want to make changes?
	If necessary, Shore & Country Kitchens will provide one plan revision with recalculation of costs are no additional charge.
	I like the plans, may I take them with me?
	As with any professional service, the developed plans are the intellectual property of the designer. In order for us to release the working drawing, we will require a retainer equal to 10% of the proposed price of the cabinetry. This retainer will be applied toward any final order placed within a period of 365 days. It is otherwise nonrefundable.
	Those are the basics. Of course, each project is unique, so please speak with your designer for answers to any specific questions you have.
